10 Best Automotive Technologies of 2018 that increases craze of automobiles even more are discussed in the article. The powertrain matters though, but more important is how the driver and vehicle occupants get an exposure of today’s increasingly sophisticated automobiles. These are the things to look for when buying a new car this year. Some People may not find them all useful (differs from choice and priority of person to person), but regardless of price point it shouldn't be too difficult to find a vehicle that has most of them.

1. Connected Mobile Apps It's no exaggeration to say that the smartphone has changed everything, including how we interact with our cars. Most carmakers offer some sort of connected smartphone app, but some are better than others. Look for one that lets you remotely lock and unlock the doors, check the status of things like fuel and tire pressure, and even remotely start the car to warm things up on a cold winter's morning. 2. Hero's first Diesel Bike upcoming in 2019

The Hero RNT is actually unveiled by the Gurgaon based automaker at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi in January and is now expected to be shown in production form later this year. It is a diesel engined motorcycle, the first in its segment, and has been created as a multipurpose vehicle.

In terms of external design, the RNT has been designed with the purpose of utility and this reflects on the outside. The bike has flat loading surfaces with strap bars as well as multi use folding side racks which have all been fitted with the sole purpose of utility. It also gets a small space between the handlebar assembly and the seat, making it a pseudo step-thru, thus combining best of both worlds. Other surprises on the RNT include a detachable LED headlight as well as the fact that the engine can be used as a generator to power external devices.

The RNT is powered by a 150cc diesel that produces 13.5bhp and 35Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed constant mesh sequential gear…

Check out the all New Honda Amaze at 5.59 lakhs

In the last few years the compact sedan segment has been one of the hottest in the Industry. We have been seeing a number of new launches and the biggies like the Maruti Suzuki andHyundai are constantly updating their cars to be the number one in the segment.

In April 2013 Honda too jumped in the battle with Amaze and it was the first car from the manufacturer to feature a Diesel motor. Now Honda is quite famous for the refinement of their Petrol engines but
it was never known for the Diesel mills. It was one of the first Diesel engine Honda
manufactured and soon the shortcomings started to show up. It wasn’t refined, there was loads and loads of turbo lag and the engine becomes vocal even when idling. On the contrary the competition like the Maruti Suzuki has some ultra refined Diesel motors.

It is 2018 my friends and Honda had put a lot of effort to make their Diesel motors better. With the 2018 Honda Amaze just launched it was time to take one for a skin.

The Evolution of Automotive Air Conditioning

Yet for much of the history of the automobile, air conditioning was either a cutting-edge luxury or a sci-fi writer’s dream. The automotive air conditioners of today are the result of a century’s worth of invention and refinement. The only way to keep cool a closed-body automobile prior to 1940 was to raise an adjustable windshield that opened vertically or to remove the side curtains. The opening of the windshield was restricted to about 13mm so that the passenger compartment was sufficiently pressurized while minimizing infiltration of the hot air from the engine. Subsequently, windows could be cranked up and down for the desired airflow. In addition, vents under the dashboard facilitated air circulation. These ventilation systems were rudimentary, as they did not filter dirt, dust, pollen or insects from the air. Thus, the quality of the air circulating through the passenger compartment was poor. The development of the automotive air conditioner began in earnest in 1930 when General …

Read All about New Tata Tigor Reviews

Tata has been quite on a roll since the launch of Bolt and Zest sedan. Though the Bolt didn’t made a lasting impression, Zest on the other hand sold in decent numbers. Still the company wasn’t able to leave a mark until they come up with the Tiago hatchback. Tiago turned the fortunes for Tata and people start considering it too as a choice for their first car. Riding high on Tiago’s success, Tata made another attempt to conquer the hottest segment in the industry i.e. compact sedans with an all new car named Tigor.

Now here the name seems quite similar to ‘Tiger’ but this car is nothing like a big cat. It has no muscular lines or sharp jawline, neither do it's design looks athletic. It is what it is, a compact sedan. But here the thing is that it is not your conventional compact sedan. Unlike other companies which first designs a hatchback and then paste a boot on it in order to make a sedan, Tata’s philosophy of one is totally different. So different that they dropped the word s…

Tesla Self Driving - Journey towards Innovation

Full Self-Driving Hardware  can be found on All Cars of TESLA . All Tesla vehicles produced in  factory, including Model 3, have the hardware needed for full self-driving capability at a safety level substantially greater than that of a human driver.

It has Eight surround cameras which provide 360 degrees of visibility around the car at up to 250 meters of range. Twelve updated ultrasonic sensors complement this vision, allowing for detection of both hard and soft objects at nearly twice the distance of the prior system.

A forward-facing radar with enhanced processing provides additional data about the world on a redundant wavelength that is able to see through heavy rain, fog, dust and even the car ahead. To make sense of all of this data, a new onboard computer with over 40 times the computing power of the previous generation runs the new Tesla-developed neural net for vision, sonar and radar processing software. Together, this system provides a view of the world that a driver alon…

Automotive experts have long admitted the constant attempts to decrease the average curb weight of the car simply by using lightweight materials. This is no wonder because lighter cars drive faster, become more fuel efficient, have better acceleration times and potentially can boost the sales.

On the other hand, The automakers have to stick to certain car weight limits that meet the requirements of the corresponding class. It is important here not to confuse the terms of curb weight of fortwo and its gross weight. Curb weight measures the weight of the car with all of the standard equipment and amenities while passengers, cargo or any other separately loaded items are not taken into consideration.
