The all-new Hyundai Santro is one of the most awaited launches of the year & will be launch on 23 Oct 2018. The final model that took on the Santro brand was Santro Xing launched in 2003 & discontinued in 2015.
After three years Hyundai has revived the Santro brand with an all-new car and an all-new engine, but with the same tall-boy stance that everybody loved.
The new Santro is packed with a 1.1-litre 4-cylinder engine producing a peak power of 69 PS and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Hyundai claims a fuel efficiency of 20.3 km/l which also seems promising. Hyundai is going to launch Santro in a big way with 9 variants giving a full range of features to the consumers.
The Santro will feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is also the first car in the segment to receive rear AC vents and reverse parking sensors as standard. The top-end variant will also receive a rear parking camera. Interior would be featuring a new dual-tone design with upgraded interior aesthetics and equipment.
All we can say right now is that the all-new Hyundai Santro is miles ahead of its predecessor in looks & features.
Pricing details of the new Santro have not been revealed yet but we expect the car to be aggressively priced at around Rs 3.7 lakh.
