Tata Motors now the first Indian manufacturer to bag the single largest order for 25 Tata Starbus Diesel Electric Hybrid Bus

Tata Motors becomes the first Indian manufacturer to bag the single largest order for 25 Tata Starbus Diesel Electric Hybrid Bus from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

The contract to supply Tata Starbus Diesel Series Hybrid Electric Bus with full low floor configuration is the single largest order awarded for hybrid electric vehicle technology, Tata Motors said in a statement.

  1. The Tata Nano was broadly peddled as the model which would put cruiser adoring Indians in their first autos when the task was reported in mid 2008. Three years have passed and the Nano is underway and it is by a wide margin the least expensive valued auto on the planet.
