Maruti Suzuki positively has changed its way to deal with making cars in India, and it's altogether begun with the Baleno. Giving purchasers what they need has been a claim to fame of Maruti Suzuki and with the Baleno they did precisely that and now they are going to do the same with their most selling small segment hatchback Alto 800.

Maruti Suzuki Alto is believed as the strong pillar for Maruti’s success in the segment however, the new renault Kwid small hatch has managed to impact the sales figures of Alto to some extent and the Japanese car maker are also very much aware of the same.

To continue their dominance in the segment, Maruti Suzuki India is looking to introduce the next generation Alto. The next generation Alto is likely to be sportier and modern in terms of looks. '

The next-gen Alto is speculated to be lighter, faster and fuel efficient as compared to the current model. It is expected that Maruti could use the 658cc petrol engine from Suzuki Alto lapin/Kie, whereas the India-spec model is likely to retain the 800cc petrol engine. The car is expected to be offered with a five-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit.
Next gen Alto petrol version is expected to deliver a mileage of around 24-25 kmpl whereas the diesel could make around 30 kmpl making it the most frugal hatchback available. According to the market report next gen alto price could fall between Rs 3.80 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh.
Maruti has not revealed any detail regarding the launch of new-gen Alto but the sources reveal that the car could be launch in early 2018 or by the end of 2017.

It looks breathtaking! I personally own Maruti Suzuki and like it a lot! It is smooth on roads and almost never breaks. I bought it when it was 2 years old through https://autoportal.com/usedcars/used-cars-in-delhi-ncr . I've never regretted my option:)
