NGT ban on diesel Cars in Delhi-NCR

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) today has made it clear that the ban imposed on 10-year-old diesel vehicles in Delhi-NCR in 2015 is here to stay. While rejecting the Centre's request to modify its earlier order, NGT said that emissions from diesel vehicles were carcinogenic. One diesel vehicle causes pollution equivalent to 24 petrol vehicles or 40 CNG vehicles.

The ban on 10-year-old diesel vehicles in Delhi will really definitely give acceleration to petrol cars and bring down the demand for diesel vehicles.

Of course, the vehicle won't have much after-sale value in Delhi-NCR. But the impact may not be too big as a 10-year-old car in any case gets heavily depreciated. There is no countrywide ban on diesel. if you want to sell you can outside .

if similar rule comes in effect in other cities as well, then the  prices of diesel cars will definitely affect.
